Ravon Tech Solutions Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates Klipzy (.uk). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal data when you use our service. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and applicable international data protection laws.
By using Klipzy, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
2.1 Data Controller
The data controller is Ravon Tech Solutions Ltd, 5a Curzon Road, Southport, PR8 6PL, England. Contact: klipzy.contact@gmail.com.
2.2 What Personal Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide the service:
- Name and email address — collected when you register or sign up to our mailing list, for account management and service communications;
- Payment information — billing is handled entirely by Stripe, Inc. We do not receive, store, or process your card details. Stripe may collect payment data subject to their own Privacy Policy;
- Uploaded video files — processed temporarily to generate clips, then automatically deleted within 3 hours (see Section 2.5);
- Usage data — basic technical data such as IP address, browser type, and session logs collected automatically for security and service operation purposes.
2.3 How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data to:
- Create and manage your account;
- Provide and operate the Klipzy service;
- Process payments via Stripe;
- Send you service-related communications (account notifications, billing);
- Send you marketing emails if you have opted in (you can unsubscribe at any time);
- Comply with legal obligations;
- Maintain the security and integrity of the platform.
We do not use your uploaded video content or generated outputs to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model.
2.4 Lawful Basis for Processing
Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the following lawful bases:
- Contract — processing your name, email, and video content is necessary to provide the service you have subscribed to;
- Legitimate interests — processing usage/log data to maintain security and service performance;
- Consent — sending marketing emails where you have opted in. You may withdraw consent at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or emailing us.
2.5 Data Retention
We retain data only as long as necessary:
- Uploaded video files, transcripts, and generated clips: deleted automatically within 3 hours of processing. When a new processing job is started, all prior transcripts and clips are deleted immediately;
- Account data (name, email): retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after deletion to comply with legal obligations;
- Payment records: retained as required by HMRC and applicable financial regulations (typically 6 years);
- Log/security data: retained for up to 90 days.
2.6 Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party sub-processors:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe processes payment data under their own Privacy Policy and is PCI DSS compliant;
- Binary Racks — server hosting provider where your data is processed. Servers are located as per Binary Racks' infrastructure.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any other third parties for marketing or commercial purposes.
2.7 International Data Transfers
Our servers are operated via Binary Racks. If your data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with UK GDPR requirements, including standard contractual clauses where applicable.
Stripe may process data in the United States and other countries. Stripe participates in approved transfer mechanisms under applicable data protection law.

2.9 Security
We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, loss, destruction, or disclosure. These include server-side encryption, access controls, and automatic deletion of video content after processing. However, no internet transmission is completely secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
